SHEPHERD'S HEART

MURAL PROJECT

​​This ongoing mural project can be seen at The Shepherd's Heart Food Pantry in Waco, Texas.

 

The food pantry director,  Bob Gager, wanted a warmer, more inviting look for the food pantry. 

I thought a sunrise theme would work well with the peachy mauve walls while adding more color.

 

I built on a farm theme, with images of several kinds of food the pantry offers, and one of their volunteers I talked into posing for me. The racial mix of the kids playing reflects the black, white & hispanic families who come there.
